The Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) provides professional leadership in designing and delivering a relevant, rigorous, learning experience in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all.
This leader will share Eastons commitment to empowering students and educators to embrace curiosity, think critically, develop positive relationships, and exhibit resilience, which is critical to advancing the Districts equity work towards becoming an inclusive and anti-biased school system.
This leader must be able to inspire staff and collaborate with many stakeholders to support the needs of all students to ensure equal access to all programs.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the district, the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility must demonstrate leadership in promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging where individuals from all demographics are able to thrive.
The Director must have a proven history of responding effectively to removing barriers and limits that have historically been in place for underrepresented and marginalized communities.
This position is a 12-month position and offers a regionally competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
